Holiday Card Series Day 9 - Let's Go Nuts for Christmas | Holiday Scene Card ft. Lawn Fawn

Hello crafty friends!

Today I am back with Day 9 of my 2020 Holiday Card Series! When those adorable Squirrels and Acorn House by Lawn Fawn came out I was just in the process of moving, so I didn't get to use them yet. So I figured it would be fun to use them on a holiday card instead. So today, my squirrels are going nuts decorating for Christmas!

If you would like to see how I made this frame just click on the video below or just keep reading!

First, I stamped my images onto Neenah cardstock and colored them using Copic markers. Then, they were cut out using the Brother Scan'n'Cut.

I ink blended my main panel with Distress Inks (see color map below or video above). I die cut the acorn house, 3 mini strings of light, the picket fence border, the Lift the Flap Tree Backdrop and a hill and ink blended those as well.

I adhered all my die cuts and images using liquid glue and foam squares. I heat embossed the sentiment onto a strip of cardstock I colored with Copic markers and added that strips with foam squares as well.

Finally, to embellish the card I added shimmer pen and Nuvo Crystal Glaze and white acrylic paint.
I really hope you like the card - I had so much fun making it!

Thank you for stopping by and have a great day!

- Julia
