Trick or Treat! | Halloween Mice Scene Card ft. Lawn Fawn

 Hello crafty Friends!

I hope you are doing well! Today I am finally back with a new card after my move and I am just so excited! Even more exciting? It's another #ChallengeACraftyFriend card with my friend Lien!! And this time we are making a new card for our "Adventures of Family Mice"-Series! For my version my cute mice are going trick or treating for Halloween!

If you would like to see how I made this card just click on the video below or just keep reading!

First, I stamped my images onto Neenah cardstock and colored them using Copic markers. Then, they were cut out using the Brother Scan'n'Cut.

I die cut a circle out of masking paper to create a moon on my background. I ink blended an A7 panel of bristol smooth cardstock using Shaded Lilac, Milled Lavender, Chipped Sapphire and Black Soot Distress Oxide. I removed the moon mask, added the negative space to the panel and ink blended then moon with Hickory Smoke. I also sprayed it with some shimmer spray and used a paper towel to soak up the excess water. That created the look of the little moon craters. Then I ink blended three bristol hill panels using Peacock Feathers, Evergreen Bough, Speckled Egg and Black Soot Distress Oxide. To the background I added Liquid Stardust and to the hills black splatters.

I stamped heat embossed the sentiment in white onto the background. Then, I added the hill panels to the background. I then added all the little costumes to the mice using liquid glue. I adhered the scenery elements flat to the panel and added the cute little trick or treaters using foam squares. The entire panel was adhered to an A7 sized card base.

I had quite a lot of colored images left over and I thought it was just a shame to not use them. So, I stamped and additional sentiment to the inside, ink blended a little hill in light grey and added the extra images for a mini bonus scene on the inside of the card!

Finally, I added shimmer pen, white gel pen highlights, Star Dust Stickles and Nuvo Crystal Glaze for extra shine!

I really hope you enjoyed this one! I am so happy to finally be back to cardmaking and I had a ton of fun creating this scene!

Thank you for stopping by and have a great day!
