Oh Gnome Baby Card | Scene Card with Lawn Fawn

Hello Crafty Friends!

Today I want to share a second baby card with you. I made this one also for the current Lawnfawnatics challenge theme "Oh Baby". I really love the super adorable "Oh Gnome" stamp set and Mushroom House die! So I tried to come up with a way to add a baby gnome! Bit of an unusual route for a baby card but I like how it turned out!

If you would like to see how I made this card just click on the video below or just keep reading!

First, I stamped all my images onto Neenah cardstock. I used the smallest hill from the "Ahoy Matey" stamp set, stamped about half of it, masked it and then stamped the little girl from "Tiny Christmas". Then I colored all images in using Copic markers. Then, they were cut out using the Brother Scan'n'Cut.

For the background I die cut a bristol panel using the Large Stitched Rectangle Stackables and ink blended it with Tumbled Glass and Salty Ocean Distress Oxide. I also die cut a hill and ink blended that with Antique Linen, Frayed Burlap, Tea Dye and splattered it with Walnut Stain Distress Ink. Since this card was for the Lawnfawnatics challenge I wanted to use only Lawn Fawn stamps and die. However, I only own the straight grassy border die and for this scene I wanted to use hills. So, I die cut the Meadow Backdrop Landscape and used the straight grassy border to add some grass to the end of the hills. Then, I in blended them with Cracked Pistachio and Pine Needles Distress Oxide. I also added some Pine Needle splatters.

I adhered the background and the hills to the background and stamped the sentiment from the "Swan Soirée" stamp set in black ink. I die cut the Mushroom House and I colored the top and the door / windows with the same Copic markers I used for the other images in the card. I assembled the house and added foam tape to the back.

Then, I added my house and the other images to the scene using liquid glue and foam squares. I added lots of shimmer pen and some Stardust Stickles to some of the images for added interest.

I really hope you enjoyed this one! I really had a lot of fun making this one!

Thank you for stopping by and have a great day!

Wish Upon A Star | Scene Card with Mama Elephant

Hello Crafty Friends!

Today I have a new #ChallengeACraftyFriend to share with you. This time the theme was "Mama Elephant Wish Upon a Star Slimline Card". So I decided to make a night time scene with these cuties!

If you would like to see how I made this card just click on the video below or just keep reading!

First, I stamped all my images onto Neenah cardstock and colored them in using Copic markers. All the images were cut out using the Brother Scan'n'Cut.

For the background I cut a bristol panel down to 3 1/2 x 8 1/2 and ink blended it with Milled Lavender, Wilted Violet and Black Soot Distress Oxide Ink. Then, I added some splatters for some shine. I also die cut two white cloud panels and added a bit of Milled Lavender to the tops as well. Additionally, I die cut some of the Mama Elephant Puffy Clouds out of white cardstock and vellum.

I heat embossed the sentiment from the stamp set in silver. I added the first cloud border to the background using liquid glue and the second using foam tape. The white cardstock clouds were adhered onto the vellum ones as a shadow and then glued to the background.

Then, I added my images to the scene using foam tape. I added some shimmer pen to the moon and stamped cloud and Stickles to the stars.

I really hope you enjoyed this one!

Thank you for stopping by and have a great day!

Baby Girl & Boy Cards | Elphie Selphie Scene Card with Lawn Fawn

Hello Crafty Friends!

Today I want to share two cards with you. I made these for the current Lawnfawnatics challenge, which is themed "Oh Baby". So I created a girl and boy scene card with the cuties from Lawn Fawn's "Elphie Selfie" and "Wild for Your" stamp sets!

If you would like to see how I made this card just click on the video below or just keep reading!

First, I stamped all my images onto Neenah cardstock. Since I wanted two big elephants facing each other I used mirror stamped the elephants twice using the Whimsy Stamps Mirror stamp. Then I colored them in using Copic markers. All the images were cut out using the Brother Scan'n'Cut.

For the background I die cut a bristol panel using the Large Stitched Rectangle Stackables and ink blended it them with Tumbled Glass, Broken China Distress and Shaded Lilac for the boy card and Squeezed Lemonade, Worn Lipstick and Abandoned Coral/Dried Marigold Oxide Ink for the girl card. For both I used the Lawn Fawn Cloudy Stencil. Then, I also die cut the simple grassy bordner and ink blended it with Cracked Pistachio and Pine Needles Distress Oxide. I also added some Pine Needle splatters.

I stamped the sentiment from the "Swan Soirée" stamp set in black. I adhered the grass border onto the background using thin foam tape.

Then, I added my images to the scene using liquid glue and foam squares. I added lots of shimmer pen and Nuvo Crystal Glaze to some of the images for added interest.

I really hope you enjoyed this one!

Thank you for stopping by and have a great day!

Crafty Picnic with Friends | Slimline Scene Card with Mama Elephant

Hello Crafty Friends!

Today I want to share a new card with you. This time I created a crafty picnic scene with the cuties from Mama Elephant's "Picnic with Friends" and "Crafted with Love" stamp sets!

If you would like to see how I made this card just click on the video below or just keep reading!

First, I stamped all my images onto Neenah cardstock and colored them in using Copic markers. All the images were cut out using the Brother Scan'n'Cut.

For the background I die cut a bristol panel using the stitched rectangle from the Slim Card Basics and ink blended it with Tumbled Glass and Broken China Distress Oxide Ink. Then, I also die cut the scalloped rectangle, the hill and the cloud border from the die set out of bristol smooth cardstock. I left the scalloped edge white and cut a card base that would leave the scalloped edge showing completely and adhered it using tape runner. I ink blendend the border panels with Twisted Citron, Mowed Lawn, Cracked Pistachio and Pine Needles Distress Oxide. I also added lots of Pine Needle splatters - turning the cloud border into shrubs to go behind my grassy hill.

I heat embossed the sentiment from the "Picnic with Friends" stamp set in white. I added the first shrubs to the background using liquid glue and adhered the hill on top using thin foam tape.

Then, I added my images to the scene using liquid glue and foam squares. I added lots of shimmer pen and Nuvo Crystal Glaze to some of the images for added interest.

I really hope you enjoyed this one! I had lots of fun making it and I just wish I could have a crafty picnic like that!

Thank you for stopping by and have a great day!

Happy Dad Day! | Interactive Box Card with Digi Stamps by Isabel Cristina

Hello everyone!

Today I want to share a Father's Day box card with you. For the first time I used a digital Stamp set. Since my dad is obsessed with his BBQ, I decided to go with the super adorable "Picnic Bunnies" set by Isabel Cristina Stamps.

If you would like to see how I made this card just click on the video below or just keep reading!

First, I purchased the stamps on Etsy and downloaded the files. Isabel Cristina actually provides an "Easy Print" PNG file so it was super easy to print the entire set twice on one sheet. I then used my Brother Scan'n'Cut to cut them out. In the video I show exactly how I the the Scan'n'Cut if you are curious about that. Then I colored them using Copic Markers Markers.

I die cut the Lawn Fawn Scalloped Box card die twice out of white cardstock and stamped the pattern with the Hello Bluebird "Country Gingham Background" stamp in Abandoned Coral Distress Oxide.  I also cut off all the flaps except for the back panel. I die cut another back panel and ink blended it with Tumbled Glass and Broken China. After that I die cut 3 grassy  panels and ink blended them with Twisted Citron, Mowed Lawn and Pine Needles. I also added some splatters with the same colors. I assembled the box using scor tape and added the background and the grassy borders using liquid glue.

I stamped the "happy" from the Lawn Fawn Mice on Ice stamp set and die cut it with the coordinating die. However, against the busy background it barely stood out. So I used my SNC to cut a shadow for the word die. In the video I show in detail how I do it! Then I stamped the "dad day" from the "Super Star" set by Lawn Fawn onto black cardstock with Versamark Ink and heat embossed it in white. And I adhered both to the front of the box card.

To finish my card, it was then time to add all my images to my scene. I used liquid glue and glue dots to adhere everything.

I hope you enjoyed this one! Thank you for stopping by and have a great day!

Another Dandy Day! | Interactive Slider Card with Dandy Day by Lawn Fawn

Hello everyone!

Today I want to share a spring slider card with you. I used the super cute "Dandy Day" set by Lawn Fawn!

If you would like to see how I made this card just click on the video below or just keep reading!

First, I stamped out my images and I used my Brother Scan'n'Cut to cut them out. Then I colored them using Copic Markers Markers.

I die cut the Meadow backdrop twice and I ink blended one of them with Cracked Pistachio, Evergreen Bough and Pine Needles. I also added some splatters with the same colors. For the background I used Tumbled Glass and Salty Ocean Distress  Ink. I also die cut a white stitched frame to go on top. For some added sparkle I added embossing ink with a Versamarker to the dandelions and used some clear sparkle embossing powder on it. I also stamped lots of little dandelion pieces on the background and a few on the hills with a grey ink and also heat embossed that with the clear glitter embossing powder.

I adhered tube shaped beads to the back of my mouse for my slider mechanism liquid glue and gave it a good amount of time to dry. Then, I put a layer of shaker foam tape around the edge of the background and put nylon string through the beads and pressed them into the foam tape to create the sliding effect. I show the entire process in detail in the video!

I die cut a banner and stamped the sentiment from the set in black ink.

I added a second layer of foam tape to seal in the strings. I glued my background to a card base, removed all the backings of the foam tape and adhered that to the background.

To finish my card, it was then time to add all my images to my scene. I used foam tape to adhere everything including the banner.

I hope you enjoyed this one! Thank you for stopping by and have a great day!

Sky's The Limit! | Maverick Shadow Box Card with Hello Bluebird

Hello Crafty Friends!

Today I have another #ChallengeACraftyFriend to share with you. This time the theme was "rainbow". So I decided to make a shadow box card with the super sweet "Maverick" stamp set by Hello Bluebird!

If you would like to see how I made this card just click on the video below or just keep reading!

First, I stamped all my images onto Neenah cardstock and colored them in using Copic markers. All the images were cut out using the Brother Scan'n'Cut.

For the background I cut a bristol panel down to 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 and ink blended it with Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide and a cloud stencil. I also ink blended a panel with Squeezed Lemonate and Dried Marigold and die cut that with Sunshine Scene. After that I used the Rainboy Sky die to die cut my rainbow and ink blended it with Squeezed Lemonade, Dried Marigold, Abandoned Coral, Tumbled Glass, Cracked Pistachio and Shaded Lilac Distress Oxide Ink. I also added some shine with the Tsukineko Shimmer Spritz. I also die cut two white cloud panels with the Grassy Knoll die set.

I heat embossed the sentiment from the stamp set in silver. I added the sunrays to the cloudy panel and adhered my rainbow on top of that.
Then I die cut the Mama Elephant Display a card twice out of light blue cardstock. I added the first cloud panel to the back of the front window. I folded the box pieces along the score lines and added score tape to all the flaps. I added the second cloud panel to the inside, glued the cloudy piece to the back and then adhered the two box pieced together to create the box.

Then it was time to add my images. I adhered them to the scene using liquid glue.

Springtime Fun | Interactive Center Picture Window Card with Lawn Fawn

Hello everyone!

This time I have a Center Picture Window Card to share with you! This was also once of those dies I HAD to have, but never actually used. So it was high time I did! I made a little spring scene using the "Butterfly Kisses" and "Tree Before and After" stamp sets by Lawn Fawn.

If you would like to see how I made this card just click on the video below or just keep reading!

First, I stamped all my images onto Neenah cardstock and colored them in using Copic markers. All the images were cut out using the Brother Scan'n'Cut.

I die cut all the pieces and also the add-on for the Center Picture Window card, as well as lots of little white clouds.

I ink blended all the panels with Tumbled Glass and Salty Ocean  Distress Oxide and I die cut some little hills as well. I used Twisted Citron and Mowed Lawn on those. Some splatters were added with the same inks, too!

Then it was time to assemble the mechanism. I added score tape to all the flaps of the die cuts. I used the score lines in the window piece to line it up on the inside. I adhered the right side first, flipped it over and added in the inside hill panels. I made sure all the parts were folded in half, removed the backing paper and closed the card. I pressed down really well to make sure the mechanism was secured.

I decorated the front and inside panels with little clouds and I heat embossed the sentiment and some dash lines for my butterflies in white. I adhered the hills on the inside and the front add on.

Then I adhered all my images to the card. I scored one of the trees down the middle so it could be added to the center of the inside window. The rest of the images were adhered using liquid glue.

As finishing touches I used lots of shimmer pen for added interest!

I  hope you enjoyed this one and until next time!

Thank you for stopping by and have a great day!
