Hello
and welcome back to my blog! Today I want to share a springtime scene
with you using the adorable "McGregor's Garden" bunnies by Hello Bluebird.
If you would like to see how I made this card just click on the video below or just keep reading!
First,
I stamped all my images onto Neenah Solar White and colored them
in using Copic markers. They were all cut out using the Brother Scan'n'Cut.
Then
I die
cut the Tree House Scene and ink blended Antique Linen, Walnut
Stain and Black Soot Distress Oxide onto it. For the background I used Tumbled Glass
and Salty Ocean and I also added some splatters using the InkOn3 Liquid
Pixie Dust. For the hill and tree tops I used Twisted Citron,
Mowed Lawn and Pine Needles.
The sentiment from the Spring Script set was heat embossed in rose gold.
I
added the hill to the background and the tree house on top of
that. After that, I figured out the placement of the tree tops and added
those as well.
Then it was time to add the all the images to my scene. I added thin foam squares to the back and adhered them. To finish off my card I added lots of shimmer pen onto some of the flowers and butterflies!
I needed a bit more room for my scene so I made this and A2 "extended" card. It's 4 1/4 x 8 1/2! The We R Memory Keepers Envelope punch board actually has an envelope size that fits well!
