Bunny Springtime Fun | Scene Card with Hello Bluebird

Hello everyone!

Hello and welcome back to my blog! Today I want to share a springtime scene with you using the adorable "McGregor's Garden" bunnies by Hello Bluebird.

If you would like to see how I made this card just click on the video below or just keep reading!

First, I stamped all my images onto Neenah Solar White and colored them in using Copic markers. They were all cut out using the Brother Scan'n'Cut.

Then I die cut the Tree House Scene and ink blended Antique Linen, Walnut Stain and Black Soot Distress Oxide onto it. For the background I used Tumbled Glass and Salty Ocean and I also added some splatters using the InkOn3 Liquid Pixie Dust. For the hill and tree tops I used Twisted Citron, Mowed Lawn and Pine Needles.

The sentiment from the Spring Script set was heat embossed in rose gold.

I added the hill to the background and the tree house on top of that. After that, I figured out the placement of the tree tops and added those as well.

Then it was time to add the all the images to my scene. I added thin foam squares to the back and adhered them. To finish off my card I added lots of shimmer pen onto some of the flowers and butterflies!

I needed a bit more room for my scene so I made this and A2 "extended" card. It's 4 1/4 x 8 1/2! The We R Memory Keepers Envelope punch board actually has an envelope size that fits well!

I hope you enjoyed this one! Thank you for stopping by and have a great day!

#GetCrackingOnChristmas: Mama Elephant Snow Friends Wintery Scene Card

Hello Crafty Friends!

Today I have my next holiday card for my #getcrackingonchristmas series to share with you! I made a scene card with the super cute "Snow Friends" stamp set by Mama Elephant!

If you would like to see how I made this card just click on the video below or just keep reading!

First, I stamped all my images onto Neenah cardstock and colored them in using Copic markers. All the images were cut out using the Brother Scan'n'Cut.

I cut a white panel down to 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 and used the MFT Stitched Dome Frames Die-namics to die cut the window into the center. I die cut the frame 4 more times and layers those die cuts for dimension. I also die cut the Hilly Neighborhood Border by Mama Elephant from white cardstock.

Mama Elephant Snow Friends

I ink blended a panel of bristol smooth cardstock with Stormy Sky, Faded Jeans, Blueprint Sketch, Chipped Sapphire and Black Soot Distress Ink. I added some white and some sparkly splatters to create the look of snow.

Then, I adhered the row of houses onto my background and the white outside frame to the background.

Mama Elephnat Snow Friends

I adhered all of my images using liquid glue and then adhered the layered frame border on top.

For the sentiment I die cut I banner using the Mama Elephant 3D Arch Banner die. I used Stormy Sky, Faded Jeans and Blueprint Sketch Distress ink to give it some color and heat embossed the sentiment from the Mama Elephant Snow Angels stamp set in silver.  I adhered it with foam squares and liquid glue.

Birthday Party | Interactive Magic Picture Changer Card with Lawn Fawn

Hello everyone!

This time I have a Magic Picture Changer Card to share with you! I have to admit: For the longest time I was soooo intimidated by this die! With masking and the mechanism - so I just never used it. This time around I want to make use of all the supplies I have and I decided to finally give it a go. And it was honestly so much easier than I thought! I made a birthday scene using the "Birthday Before and Afters" and "Butterfly Kisses" stamp sets by Lawn Fawn for this one.

If you would like to see how I made this card just click on the video below or just keep reading!

First, I stamped all my images onto Neenah cardstock and colored them in using Copic markers. Still really loving coloring with Copics!! All the images (except for the moving images) were cut out using the Brother Scan'n'Cut.

I stamped the cakes onto some masking paper and fussy cut them. I masked off the colored cakes and ink blended Tumbled Glass and Salty Ocean Distress Oxide over the area. I also ink blended and A2 sized panel and the Magic Picture Changer add on with the same oxides. I die cut a hill and used Twisted Citron and Mowed Lawn Oxide Inks to ink blend it. I also added some green splatters to it using the same colors.

I also die cut lots of little white clouds with dies that comes with the Center Picture Window Card die set.

Then it was time to assemble the mechanism. I lined up the windows in the dies and die cut the cakes with the Magic Picture Changer dies. I folded along the score lines of the track piece and added Scor tape to both the inside and outside flaps on both sides. I first adhered the inside ones to create a track for the moving piece. I then slid the tag of the moving piece through the slot the die created, folded the main piece over and began moving the front pieces into the slots of the moving piece. Once I was sure the mechanism worked I removed the backing paper of the Scor tape on the inside track and closed the mechanism. I added the tab at the end as a stopper and added the Add-On Piece on top. That finished the mechanism! Way easier than I imagined! I added foam tape to the back and added it to the center of the A2 panel.

The sentiment was heat embossed in white. I added foam tape on the bottom around the picture changer piece and adhered the hill. Then all the images were adhered using liquid glue or foam squares.

As finishing touches I added lots of shimmer pen and some white patterns to some of the images for added interest!

I  hope you enjoyed this one and until next time!

Thank you for stopping by and have a great day!

Pastel Birthday Spellers | Scene Card with Hello Bluebird

Hello everyone!

Hello and welcome back to my blog! Today I want to share a pastel birthday scene with you using the super cute "Spooky Spellers" stamp set by Hello Bluebird.

If you would like to see how I made this card just click on the video below or just keep reading!

First, I stamped all my images onto Neenah Solar White and colored them in using Copic markers. After that, they were all cut out using the Brother Scan'n'Cut.

I die cut the Tree House Scene and ink blended Antique Linen and Walnut Stain Distress Oxide onto it. I covered the back with a bit of cardstock that I colored with Scattered Straw . For the background I used Spun Sugar and Shaded Lilac and I also added lots of splatters using the InkOn3's Liquid Pixie Dust. For the hills and tree tops I used Cracked Pistachio. I also added some splatters in the same color to the tree tops and stamped some little grass tufts of grass for more interest on the hill.

Then I added the sentiment from the Mama Elephant Scripty Bday and heat embossed in platinum.

I adhered the hill, tree house and tree tops using foam tape to create dimension. I added my adorable critters with foam squares and the gift boxes with liquid glue.

I added lots of shimmer pen to the gifts and the butterflies, white pen details to the gifts and black glaze pen over the letters for more interest. I just love all the sparkle from the shimmer pen and liquid pixie dust!!

I needed a bit more room for my scene so I made this and A2 "extended" card. It's 4 1/4 x 8 1/2! The We R Memory Keepers Envelope Punchboard actually has an envelope size that fits well!

I hope you enjoyed this one! Thank you for stopping by and have a great day!
